Rear ride height adjuster kit
Performance adjustable rear shock link arm kit for Yamaha R9 2025-2026
Developed for track use only.
Want to upgrade your Yamaha R9 to have adjustable rear ride height? The Lucan performance rear shock link arm kit, can raise, or lower the back end of your Yamaha R9 for a more refined adjustment to your setup, allowing convenient changes for circuit, or riding style.
Often overlooked, but even a change of tyre type can influence your setup requiring ride height adjustment to maintain your preferred setting.
Fully CAD developed, machined from billet 7075 T6 aluminium, and tested on track. Designed and made in England.
Note: The link arm is finished GP style in raw aluminium, and may scratch easier than anodised aluminium. Depending on adjustment, side stand may no longer be effective. Track use only. Range of adjustment may be limited by individual machine setup and aftermarket parts. Although this can lower the rear end, it is not intended to be a Yamaha R9 lowering kit, it is a track focused rear ride height adjuster.
Length adjustment of 20mm
,134-154mm
Developed around the Yamaha 890 series type swingarm, the link rod is easy to access and see for easy measurement and adjustment. Once you've fully removed the load from the swingarm, it can be adjusted in minutes without full disassembly, making this the ideal tool for adjustments even between track sessions.
Rear ride height adjustment can affect trail, wheelbase, centre of gravity, ground clearance, rear swingarm angle, and front fork rake angle. So an adjustable rear ride height link arm can unlock a huge adjustment profile to fine tune the handling of your Yamaha R9, or to maintain your preferred geometry when changing other parts on your R9.
Reducing trail leads to more agile handling and quicker turning, allowing you to attack even the most technical tracks at speed. Increased swingarm angle adds better anti-squat characteristics for increased corner exit traction and line holding.
